To achieve an attractive return on investment, apparel displays need to stand the test of time and outlive the fashion cycle. Versatility, configurability, and durability are all key attributes of successful apparel displays. Having sufficient carry capacity, offering cross-merchandising flexibility, clear and powerful branding, and being easy to maintain and service are all important to apparel display merchandising success. Welcome to Part II of our blog series on apparel displays. In Part I, we shared 10 examples of apparel displays that were designed to maximize sales and build brands. Today, we’ll share another 10 examples, some of which are very basic and others more sophisticated.
- Nesting Tables– Nesting tables are a staple of apparel merchandising. They generally come in sets of 2 or 3 tables, each of which are progressively taller, thereby enabling the set to “nest” within the same footprint. Nesting tables can also nest to save money on shipping, and many utilize knock-down construction for even better shipping efficiencies. The nesting tables we made below are knock-down and have a black powder coated and rustic wood finish.
- Cinch Floor Merchandiser– In keeping with the rustic wood finish theme, we like the rugged simplicity and cool industrial vibe of the 2-sided metal and wood floor merchandiser shown below. We used metal tube construction with slotted uprights, MDF base and back panel inserts with a barn wood laminate, faceouts, and a 2-sided wood-framed PVC header sign.
- 2-WAY Floor Merchandiser– Another example of a highly configurable floor display is the 2-Way merchandiser shown below. Like the above display, it features metal tube construction with slotted uprights, a bamboo panel base insert, a header sign, and a wide range of adjustable accessories including straightouts, waterfalls, jetrails, and graphic frames.
- 5 Fin Floor Display– The 5Fin floor display shown below is an example of a 2-sided, high capacity floor merchandiser. It is constructed using dark stained solid pine and includes 10 cubbies for folded apparel, a center shelf with hang bar below, removable PVC side graphics, and a wood-framed header with a burlap backdrop and die-cut PVC logo sign.
- SFL HRACK– Our stock SFL-HRACK is a highly versatile display comprised of 3 configurable panels. It accommodates shelves, HBARS, faceouts, watefalls, hooks, cap pockets, header signs and other accessories. Below are 3 examples of how it can be configured to show different looks and merchandise different product mixes.
- Lapco Apparel Wall– The same type of configurability can be applied to an apparel wall display. The Lapco wall shown below includes separate modules that can be attached in various lengths. The wall incorporates shelf standards that can accommodate shelves, crossbars, and other accessories including faceouts and waterfalls. The back and divider panels can be outfitted with standard wood finishes or digitally printed graphics, and the header system is interchangeable and modular.

- Rockies Apparel Wall Mounted System– In contrast to the freestanding wall system shown above, we designed the Rockies wall system below to be mounted to a wall. The system includes slotted uprights with wall mounts, large and small apparel hanging bars, metal shelf frames with stained wood inserts, decorative wood back panels with direct printed graphics, and a lifestyle PVC back panel sign.
- Mobile Floor Merchandiser– This display is hard to miss at retail. We constructed this 4-sided display out of solid pine and added a golden oak stain which we torched to create a unique look. The display includes slanted top panels for boxed apparel products and multiple faceouts for hanging apparel product.
- Louis Garneau Floor Display– We designed this cross-merchandising display for Louis Garneau. The display features shelves for cycling shoes, hang bars for cycling-inspired apparel, a sizing chart, lifestyle images, and generous brand-building graphics on all sides.
- ViX Swimwear– Designed with a small footprint in mind to fit in specialty shops, the ViX Swimwear floor display shown below was constructed out of solid walnut. We laser engraved the logos and added a gold paint fill. We mounted single peg hooks with screen printed branding on the ends.
That’s it for today’s post. Be sure to watch for Part III of this series in which we will share our final 10 apparel display examples.
