Footwear is sold in virtually every type of retail venue from surf shops, clothing boutiques, mass market retail stores, resort gift shops, grocery stores, and many other types of specialty stores. Flip flop and sandal displays top the charts as the most popular type of footwear display and are the subject of our 2-part blog series. In Part I, we shared our first 10 examples of flip flop and sandal displays. Today, we’ll share 20 more examples.
- Hari Mari 2-Sided Flip Flop Display– We designed and fabricated this 2-sided floor display for Hari Mari. The core of the display included a metal base and frame on casters, but we added wood base, back and header panels. The front of the display accommodated 8 hanging SKUs. The back of the display featured a large lifestyle graphic with slanted glorifier shelves for single flip flops. We added a screen-printed header sign and interchangeable side signs.
- Hari Mari Medium-Capacity Flip Flop Display– We created a medium-capacity display for Hari Mari which included a metal frame with slots for adjustability. We designed branded hangers and dressed up the display with a stained plywood base, branded side panels, and a branded stained wood header with laser-cut 3D acrylic letters.
3. Footwear Tower Display– The footwear tower display shown below is an excellent design for small footprint retail environments. The display features a metal base with MDF insert, a slotted metal center pole, adjustable footwear shelves with front lip branding, a die-cut organically shaped PVC flag sign, a PVC header sign, and a digitally media player.
4. Customized Stock Wood Grid Display– Our 2-sided stock wood grid display can easily be branded and converted to a footwear display to meet the immediate needs of a footwear display program. We make this display with a pre-finished birch plywood base on casters and birch plywood sides and top. We direct print the side graphics and include a PVC header sign. The slatgrid panel works with slatwall hooks or slatgrid hooks for hanging flip flops or sandals.
5. High-Capacity Rainbow Sandals Display– We designed this high-capacity, 2-sided floor display to hold 30 SKUs of Rainbow sandals. The display features metal and wood construction with adjustable hook locations, direct printed wood header, and birch plywood surfboard sides with permanent branding and removable PVC lifestyle graphics.
6. Rainbow Sandals Medium-Capacity Display– We designed a modified smaller version of the above display using the same metal and wood construction. This 12-SKU display also included birch plywood side panels with direct printed graphics, branded metal hooks, and a layered dimensional wood header with direct printed graphics.
7. Skechers Cali Gear Customized Stock Display– The Cali Gear display shown below is another example of utilizing one of our universal grid stock displays. We created side and header PVC signs to promote the Skechers brand and used regular single peg grid hooks to merchandise the product.
8. Sseko Counter Display– We designed this 1-sided counter display for Sseko’s line of footwear. We used simple MDF construction with direct printed back panel graphics and included 5 hooks with a clear acrylic brochure holder.
9. Sseko Floor Display– The 2-sided Sseko floor display shown below was designed to support a 2-step buying process whereby shoppers are instructed to first choose their size and then select their strap of choice. We created a carbonized solid bamboo base with 2 matching bamboo shelves and then added white MDF panels and shelves. We direct printed the graphics and included hooks for hanging product.
10. 3-Sided Sseko Floor Display– We’ll wrap up today’s blog with one final Sseko floor display example. This 3-sided display features all-MDF construction with hooks for hanging product on the front and back, side glorifier shelves with additional hooks under each shelf, vinyl back panel graphics, direct printed circular header signs, and inside shelves for backstock.
Flip flop and sandal displays can range from simple to sophisticated, but irrespective of the complexity of the display, the focus should always be on showcasing the product.
