VIZIO New Product Launch

The display required several complex features:

• Designed to fit on an endcap, specific to this Club Store retailer
• Needed the ability to showcase a 55” TV and then be upgraded to a 75” TV at a later date
• Required the soundbar to attach to the TV and be locked in place with a custom security device to prevent theft at retail
• Allowed for interchangeable graphics
• Included dimensional, back lit LED Logo
• Provided a media player that would allow interaction between the soundbar and TV and the consumer
• Allowed for easy movement in the store by a pallet jack and display glided and be produced from metal for durability
• Worked with customers 3PL to coordinate shipping schedule with the installation schedule
• Produced instruction sheets and video to assist with product install

Working back and forth directly with VIZIO over a nine month period, we developed multiple prototypes to determine the final fit, look and feel. However, the time spent developing the initial concept to final prototype prevented us from producing the displays in our overseas production facility in China if we were to hit the rollout timeline. We needed to find a better solution for our customer.

We solicited one of our partner facilities in Mexico, focusing on metal displays for retail in-store environments. The proximity of the fabrication shop and our knowledge of their high-quality capabilities allowed us to meet all requirements and deliver a hugely successful, on-time rollout.
